Derwent Inktense Pencils, Open Stock
Derwent Inktense Pencils are as versatile as watercolor pencils, but with a firmer texture that allows them to perform with the brilliant intensity of traditional pen-and-ink. These pencils are available in strong, vibrant colors which work beautifully on their own or can be mixed together to create rich, subtle tones. The pure, clean colors are perfect for bold expressive drawings, including fashion illustration, landscapes, greeting cards, and more. Inktense pencils can be used dry for rich, intense color or washed out with a little water to create a vivid translucent effect. Once dry, the color is permanent and can be worked over with other media. Pencils are pre-sharpened.

Their size and length are great for making broad, gestural strokes. Create different marks with the sides, edges, and corners — you can even use an embossing tool to create lines and add texture. XL Charcoal Blocks are very tactile, so you can use your finger to smudge and move the color around.
Derwent XL Graphite Blocks Individual Colours
The chunky shape of these extra-large graphite blocks makes them captivating, intuitive, and great fun to use. Available in a variety of rich, dense colors, Derwent XL Graphite Blocks can be used for everything from sensitive line work and subtle blending to expressive marks and deep tonal work. Derwent Inktense Blocks, Open Stock
Derwent Inktense Blocks bring a new sense of freedom to the drawing and painting experience. They are watersoluble ink blocks that can be used dry or wet. Dry, they deliver pure, vibrant color. When wet, they create a translucent ink-like paint that can be worked over when dry. Their chunky shape makes them extremely versatile. Use them dry to apply fine lines or broad strokes directly to the paper. Wet, they can be used like pans of paint, dipped in water to apply color directly to the paper, or applied to wet paper for instant, intense color. Inktense Blocks are ideal for loose, expressive landscapes and colorful still life paintings. They can also be used for rubber stamping, decoupage, or on fabric to create stunning silk paintings and quilts. They also combine beautifully with Derwent Inktense Pencils.
Derwent Watercolour Pencils, Open Stock
These professional-quality watersoluble pencils offer the freedom to switch from drawing to painting in an instant, with no change in tools. Use them to shade on dry paper, then quickly wash over with brush and water to get a blending effect.
Derwent Watercolor Pencils can be used on wetted paper for intensified colors with softened edges, or wet the pencil first to create rich, textured lines. Each pencil is presharpened and has a 3.4 mm diameter color strip.

The Artpack is a neat and handy size, slightly smaller than A5 and less than an inch deep when closed (115mm x 200mm x 20mm). It can easily be slipped into a shoulder bag or backpack. When you want to use your favourite pencils it opens flat for easy access and once finished just folds over and is secured with a hook & loop fastening (contents not included).
